Eligibility

You must be under age 65, a member of your association for a minimum of 30 days prior to your effective date of coverage and self-employed in the arts and entertainment industry.

There are two CIGNA Plans available

The HMO
There are co-payments for office visits, hospital admissions and prescription drugs. Expenses outside the CIGNA network are not covered, except for emergencies, which are covered anywhere in the world.

The Point of Service plan (POS)
This plan allows a member to go to any doctor in or out of the CIGNA network, anywhere in the world. The expenses incurred outside the network are subject to an annual deductible of $1,500 and co-insurance of 70%/30%. If the member stays within the CIGNA network, the benefits are the same as the HMO described above.
